Scuba diving can be an experience that allows the person to escape the chaos of land and enter a world all unto itself. Daniel Edward Fitzgibbons has always had a passion for outdoor activities and scuba diving has allowed him to forgot his work obligations and any stresses of his life and enjoy the beauty of what lies underneath the water. Scuba diving has quickly become one of his favorite outdoor activities. While no two sites are the same, two of Daniel Edward Fitzgibbons favorite scuba diving locations are that of the Cayman Islands and Nakwakto Rapids in BC. The Cayman Islands boasts crystal clear blue waters so warm a wet suit is rarely required even for deep sea diving. They have an exotic collection of fish and a community that is incredibly welcoming to visitors. Another location that Daniel Edward Fitzgibbons is fond of is that of Turret Rock, also known as Nakwakto Rapids in British Columbia. While in temperature, it is a counter to the Cayman Islands, if you can stand the winds, below the surface are some incredible sites. With some of the world’s fastest ocean currents, noted often at a whopping 16 knots per hour, it also has a vast wealth of sea life from crabs and barnacles to painted greenlings and colorful palettes of anemones. It is also home to oversized crustaceans that cannot be found at almost any other location in the world. Comments are closed.
