You would never know it now, but Dan Fitzgibbons actually grew up in Fargo, North Dakota as the youngest of five children. It’s hard to imagine now because Dan now called Minneapolis home. It is his community. As he grew in Fargo, he attended grade school at Holy Spirit School and high school at Shanley High, where he played a critical role with the SandPebbles singing group, even as he played football, golf and intramural hockey. He now has a career that stretches across about covers a quarter century, primarily as the Data Protection Business Manager for the Minneapolis office of EMC Corporation. That has made Dan Fitzgibbons one of the best in the tech business and one of the finest business minds in the Twin Cities. However, as much as he loves his career, community and family are even more important. That is why Dan Fitzgibbons supports so many local Minneapolis charities, such as Loaves and Fishes, a program that served more than 460,000 hot meals to the hungry in 2015 alone.
