Dan Fitzgibbons feels that Minneapolis is his community, and he always wants to give as much as he can to make them better. Through his career, which now covers more than 25 years, Dan has shown himself to be a major player in the tech sector. He is currently the Data Protection Business Manager for tech giant EMC Corporation, in their Minneapolis office. However, while Dan Fitzgibbons knows the tech business well, there is far more to him than that.
While he certainly loves his career, family and community have always been important to Dan Fitzgibbons. Growing up in Fargo, North Dakota, he was the youngest of five children. At Shanley High, he was part of a singing group and played football, golf and intramural hockey. Following that, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business Administration from Moorhead State University just over the state border in Minnesota. It was then that Dan Fitzgibbons decided that Minnesota was home. It wasn’t long after college that Dan Fitzgibbons moved to Minneapolis. He is now seen as a prominent member of the community, with a beautiful wife and two wonderful children. Because Dan loves Minneapolis, he gives back to the community in any way he can. when he can. Of course, he does what he can to help the poor and homeless in the region. He works with Bridging, a program that provides those transitioning out of homelessness with basic household items that many people don’t think to buy them. He also helps to feed the hungry through his work with Loaves and Fishes. That charity managed to serve more than 460,000 nutritious, hot meals to the hungry in 2015 alone. Comments are closed.
