For Dan Fitzgibbons, family and community have always been major priorities. That has been the case ever since he grew up in Fargo and attending Holy Spirit Grade School and Shanley High. He always appreciated being part of a community, which is why his high school time included being part of the Sandpebbles singing group, as well as a key club. It was also why he played football and golf for the school. Following high school, Dan Fitzgibbons began his education at North Dakota State, but transferred just over the Minnesota state line to Moorhead State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business Administration. It is true that Dan Fitzgibbons is good at his job. He is the Data Protection Business Manager for the Minneapolis, Minnesota office of EMC Corporation, a prominent international technology company that enjoys billions in revenues and employs more than 70,000 globally. With more than 25 years of technology and sales experience under his belt, he is one of the best. However, to Dan Fitzgibbons, it pales in comparison to being thought of as a community leader. He now has a beautiful wife and two great kids, so he feels like he must do as much as he can to become a great community leader, for them. That is why he tries to give back when possible. For example, Dan Fitzgibbons helps to feed the hungry with his work with with Loaves and Fishes, an impressive program that proudly served more than 460,000 nutritious, hot meals to the poor in 2015 alone. He also partners with Allan Law’s 363 Days Food Program, which has worked for years with several groups to distribute hundreds of thousands of nutritious sandwiches to the hungry and homeless. Dan Fitzgibbons simply wants to make is community better. Comments are closed.
